Trainings: "Modern Library Standards" and "The Role and Importance of the Modern Library in the Education System"

One of the goals and priorities of the management of BHMES ANRI is to develop personnel, improve their qualifications, and meet modern requirements. It is for this purpose that various trainings are held for the staff.
From February 5 to 9 of the current year, the staff of the Henri BSUS Library underwent trainings: "Modern Library Standards" and "The Role and Importance of a Modern Library in the Education System".

The training discussed such topics as: modern library standards; Definitions of standards, pros and cons; classification and cataloging standard; DDC standard; types of classification systems; Role of the library in the development and implementation of educational programs; diversity of resources and services;
The training included questions and answers and hands-on exercises.

The training was conducted by the head of the project "Innovative Educational Connections", trainer: Maya Metreveli.
At the end of the training the participants were awarded certificates.
